Dr. Abaza
I feel VERY BLESSED to be doing so well at 59 and VERY MUCH APPRECIATE all your help. You VERY LIKELY saved my life (and WITHOUT the usual side effects from a radical prostatectomy)!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

I want to thank Dr. Abaza and his entire staff. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in spring of 2023. I was referred to you by Dr. Woolums at SOMC (highly recommended). You were able to get me scheduled pretty quick and removed my prostate on October 31st. Surgery was a success. My PSA number was above a 6. I returned on February 1st 2024 for my 3 month follow up and first PSA test. My psa is now undetectable. I don’t know how to thank you enough. My family and I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done for me. You and your staff are outstanding. I’ve had nothing but good things to say to anybody that I’ve talked to about my experience with Dr. Abaza and Central Ohio Urology. Thanks again for everything.
J.D.A. (Apple Grove, WV)

I wanted to thank you all for the great care I received from your office for my prostate removal. I had my surgery on May 22nd, and recovery has gone much better than I ever imagined. My PSA was 9.2 and now is 0. Nice not having to think about prostate cancer.
I have already mentioned your office many times to others. I will be certainly recommending Dr. Abaza and Central Ohio Urology to anyone needing a urologist .
Thanks again. Bless you all.

Dear Dr. Abaza,
I want to express my sincere appreciation to you for your compassionate and extraordinary care of me. It is apparent that you care deeply for your patients, and you clearly desire to attain the best possible outcome. I am grateful that Dr. J referred me to you. He knew you would be the best surgeon to address my persistent issues and I knew I was in good hands.
I also want to thank your team. They are a reflection of you being efficient, organized, empathetic, and professional. I am pain free and back to normal, so I am very thankful!
Sincerely,
J.W. (Novelty, OH)

I want to send a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Abaza and his staff! When first learning that I had prostate cancer, like most others, I was a little lost and nervous. After speaking with a few other urologists, my wife and I soon discovered Dr. Abaza. When another urologist, that has the ability to perform the same procedure, tells you that he would have no one but Dr. Abaza if he were in my shoes, we were confident we had found the right doctor to perform my surgery. Dr. Abaza and his staff were wonderful. It made my wife and I very happy to hear Dr. Abaza acknowledge God multiple times throughout several visits. Thank you Dr. Abaza and the entire staff for taking such great care of me throughout the past 4-5 months.
Howard Martin (Ontario, OH)

I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of the staff at Central Ohio Urology. A few people that really helped included Stacy who worked her magic with the lab. Without her intervention the procedure would have been rescheduled. Elizabeth who answered our endless questions patiently. Dr. Abaza who really does call back even for weekends for questions and reassurance. The doctor really prepared you for what to expect and then delivered. I am amazed at what he was able to do. He surely is gifted. Looks like on the road to full function again.
T.M. (Alexandria, OH)

Dr. Abaza and Staff,
Thank you and your staff for all the excellent care! Your surgical skills are amazing. Very minimal pain after the robotic surgery and cancer free. Your entire staff was very courteous and helpful in making arrangements for us when the weather did not cooperate. We cannot thank you enough.
Sincerely,
Dan and Lisa Smith (Celina, OH)

Dr. Abaza, My wife and I are so thankful for you and your gracious staff. You are both professional and compassionate (not to mention, extremely talented). God truly blessed us beyond measure when He led us to your office. My prostate cancer surgery was a complete success and I am quickly approaching a full recovery. We will always remember your kindness and we pray that your endeavors will continue to help save the lives of thousands of others. God bless to all of you.

From the time we first entered your office for consultation through surgery to follow up appointments we were treated by everyone as though we were family. Dr. Abaza and staff treated us with much kindness and compassion explaining each step thoroughly throughout the whole process of my prostate surgery. This area is truly blessed to have such a godly and family oriented group of people that is so compassionate about the service they provide. I cannot thank you enough for everything you and your staff has done for me. My family has also expressed much appreciation for such a dedicated doctor and staff. May God bless you all and again thank you so very much.

Dr. Abaza:
Thank you for being such an exceptional, outstanding surgeon with compassion and excellent communication skills. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the spring of 2021 and experienced a very anxious, emotional summer. You performed robotic surgery in August. My wife and I were quite impressed with your medical skills and the friendliness, knowledge and efficiency of your staff. You exhibit a true concern for your patients to return to a normal functioning life after surgery. Because of you, I feel fantastic and I have my life back again. We are forever grateful.
Fred M. (Howard, OH)

I am 71 years old and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July, 2021. Dr. Abaza performed a radical prostatectomy in August. I am doing great and am now cancer free. Dr. Abaza and his team are fantastic! They are experienced, efficient and caring. My thanks to everyone at The Central Ohio Urology Group!

Dear Dr. Abaza,
With the transfer of your office earlier this year, I was not able to express my gratitude for your care, your compassion, and your incommensurate skill! Now as I near the two-year anniversary of the surgery - in great shape (and <0.03), I hope you will accept a belated expression of thanks to you and your team (esp. Krista and Margo!).
William O.

I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May, 2021. My urologist outlined the options available for treatment and after I decided upon surgery to remove the prostate, he recommended Dr. Abaza. I am an avid bicyclist so I was apprehensive about the surgery and when I could start riding again (I had already signed up to ride Pelotonia to raise money for cancer research). The June 26, 2021 surgery, and recovery, went remarkably well - I took my first short bike ride 3 weeks after surgery and rode 100 miles in Pelotonia 6 weeks after. That could only be attributed to Dr. Abaza's extraordinary skill performing the robotic radical prostatectomy.

Dr. Abaza,
I want to thank you for performing my surgery last month. Recovery is going well so far. My heartfelt gratitude is really beyond words. May God bless you and your team as you continue to use your great skill and training for men like me. See you in two months.

Dear Dr. Abaza,
Seven years ago, Dr. Peck recommended you for surgery. When you interviewed me, you stated you did not have any data for an 80-year-old. I twisted your arm off at the shoulder, and you did the surgery.
Thanks for a great job! After the surgery, the only pain pill necessary was one (1) Tylenol. Also, no leakage even if I cough. No recurrence of the #9 and I still go to the office five (5) days a week (half days 7 to 7) as an 87-year-old.
Thanks again for a first-class surgery.
Sincerely,
John F. (Mansfield, OH)

Dear Dr. Abaza,
You performed my prostatectomy on June 16 of this year. Please be advised that just five weeks after surgery, I have regained complete sexual function...as good as before the surgery. I thought you’d like to know.

Dr. Abaza & Staff,
Thank you for the dignified and kind way you treated Sue and me during our wait for my surgery on January 5th and the help you gave us in working with insurance to get the surgery pre-certed before I was actually covered by Anthem. I knew from the first office call this was the place I belonged.
Thank you Dr. Abaza and Dr. Thompson for your detailed yet easily understood information about what the surgery would entail. Thank each staff member of their quick answers to all of the many, many questions and phone calls.
7/14/14
I chose Dr. Abaza after much research and I feel not only did I choose the very physician I could but the best office to work with. Today has been six weeks since surgery, and I am progressing exactly as has been outlined for my recovery.
Cancer is a scary word, but when you work with the very best people it takes a lot of the stress and anxiety out of it. We thank you for the care you gave me and am looking forward to a long life.
Respectfully,
Bob P.
I am doing well, working every day, didn’t miss a day of work in 2015. Still so thankful for God allowing me to find out about DR. ABAZA. Dear Dr. Ronney Abaza:
I wanted to drop you a note and inform you that my husband Chuck E. went to heaven July 11th. You were the doctor that removed his kidney last year. A bad, rapid growing cancer had been found. After undergoing a hard chemotherapy, the cancer was in remission. However after three months it had metastasized to his liver.
I would like to express my sincere thanks for helping my husband during that time. Your skill in operating on Chuck was exemplary. Our dear friend Dr. Mike S. had referred us to you, and we felt we had the best. Thank you for the many years of studying and preparing to help folks like us. Thanks again ever so much.
With great appreciation:
Bev E.
Dr. Abaza:

Dear Dr. Abaza,
Thank you for working me into your schedule so expeditiously yesterday. I apologize if I seemed a bit pushy or abrupt, but our experience to date was a bit lacking and I felt compelled to obtain a large amount of information in what I expected would be a short amount of time. Thank yo for taking the necessary time. We now have adequate information to proceed in what will certainly be rigorous treatment. Additionally, please extend Cindy’s and my sincere thanks to your staff for their courteous efficiency and professionalism. We hope you have a relaxing long weekend.
Many thanks.
Ed F.

Dr. Abaza
I want to thank you for giving me the most amazing gift I’ve ever received, the gift of health. Without your commitment, heart, and willingness to serve, I may not have the life I enjoy today. The advancements that you’ve helped create in the medical field have saved hundreds of lives and will continue to do so for many years to come. I truly believe ours was a divine appointment, and I am grateful that God connected us. As I celebrate 6 months of health, I am honored to say you saved my life.
Thank you.

May God continue to bless you and your family, and use you in His healing way.

Dear Dr. Abaza and Staff,
You recently corrected my mother’s rare ureteral sciatic hernia. She went through a lot before coming to you and it was hard for my 5 siblings and I to hear how much pain she was in, especially since it was for so long.
It seems that as soon as she and my father met you and your staff, her state of mind changed from frantic and confused to calm and certain—certain that was in good hands.
We all want to thank you for all you did for my mom. She said you and your staff treated her with professionalism and kindness and dignity. That is a combination rare in many medical settings today. Your efficiency was also greatly appreciated. My parents always were aware of what was being done.
From all of us on behalf of my mother—Mary Ellen D.—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Jeff (was there with my parents), Lisa, James, Lori, John, Leslie D. (Clearwater, FL)
Dr. Abaza and entire staff,
I would like to thank you and each and every one of your staff members. I would like to thank each and every one personally if I knew all of your names. You all treated us like royalty. Thank you for your super knowledge and kindness. You’re great.
Roger A. and family
We Love you all!
Dear Dr. Abaza and team,
We thank you for being so caring, helpful, and cheerful in our time of need.
Sincerely,

Dr. Abaza:
I just wanted to send you a short note of thanks to you for (a) dedicating your life to healing people and (b) for accepting me as a patient and accommodating me so quickly. You operated on me on the morning of Tuesday, September 3rdand from what I can tell, my recovery is benefitting greatly from your knowledge and skilled robotic hands.
I am not sure what the future holds in terms of future treatment-if any-but I would be willing to continue to make the 2+ hour commute in the future in order to remain a patients of yours for years to come. My wife and I did a lot of research on prostate cancer, the various treatment modalities and those that provide those services-both near and far. It is a very difficult process-especially for the layman-but at this stage of the game, I believe we chose very wisely.
Thank you so much for your part in hopefully curing my disease. I can never thank you enough.
Sincerely,
Steven and Dianne A (Edgewood, KY)
Thank you to the entire office staff. Your cheerfulness helps relieve anxious moments for us an all others you serve. Wishing each of you Happy Holidays for you and your families and a great year 2015!
May God’s blessings continue with you all each day!
Thank you!
The H. family
Dear Dr. Abaza,
We would like to thank you for all the excellent care you have given to Dan. We feel like you are the most skilled physician Dan could have had to remove his cancerous prostate. After Dan searched for you online he felt confident making an appointment to see you, to discuss robotic surgery. Thank you for continuing Dan’s follow up care as he feels very comfortable with you.
Again Dr. Abaza, thank you for being such an excellent surgeon and for helping Dan.
Sincerely,
Dan and Allis N. and family

Dear Doctor Abaza;
I write to THANK YOU for your personal and professional medical expertise in caring for me.
Identifier: That 83 Year old male: right kidney tumors (kidney removed); left kidney with stones and tumors; left ureter cell carcinoma; and bladder with malignant neoplasm; etc.
One month ago based on my medical diagnosis, I looked to my future with gloom and doom, even after the numerous medical procedures performed by you. With God at your side providing you strength, knowledge and expert skills, you removed the stones, tumors, and supposedly removed the malignant neoplasm from my bladder (time will tell). Your personal attention in reporting to my family of what you believed a successful operation (July 16th) has inspired me into a new life ahead. I now look favorably at a life into the nineties with a positive approach. And, I “Thank YOU”!!
Your wisdom, expertise, robotic skills, and personal attention are to be commended. For your efforts to details with successful results, I THANK YOU immensely. With God on your side, YOU ARE THE BEST!
Again, I sincerely Thank You for all that you have done for me.
Yours truly,
Don R.

Everyone on staff that we came into contact with was so pleasant and helpful. The written materials answered any and all questions we had, and was very helpful because we could refer to it again and again.
Thank you to each and everyone on staff!

Dear Dr. Abaza
I wanted to take a minute and thank you for your efforts with reference to my prostate cancer concerns.
It has been nearly nine months since the original discovery of the condition.
The thought of having the disease tends to wear on you, even though you try to be positive and optimistic. Today was an enormous relief with your professionalism and knowledge to conclude my specific situation was a candidate for active surveillance. I wish I would have visited you six months prior.
I spent over 30 years managing hundreds of people, building teams of caring people and manufacturing products for caring customers.
Your credentials were a huge green flag and I called for an appointment.
Additionally, I was extremely impressed by your staff.
Wow, when you come into the office and check in, the feeling of a good, friendly, caring staff just hits you right in the face. Your employees are the best and I can’t thank them enough for their services.
To all of you, wonderful job and believe me, people notice and appreciate what you are doing for us.
See you the end of January for the PSA checkup and I’ll bring the donuts for the snack.

Dear Dr. Abaza:
I wanted you to know that I greatly appreciate your surgical expertise. I feel very blessed to have had you as my surgeon and to have experienced such a wonderful outcome thus far.
Seventeen days post surgery, I am wearing no pads and actually have better bladder control now that I did prior to my surgery. I realize the personal discipline, sacrifice, and persistence required to be one of the very best.
I sincerely thank you for your continual and relentless pursuit toward improving your surgical approach and technique.
The surgery that you do is life changing for each individual patient. May God grant you many healthy happy years ahead.
You the man and I am grateful.
Most sincerely,
Dr. Douglas B.

Dear Dr. Abaza,
I want you to know how really please my wife and I have been with my surgical experience at Dublin Methodist Hospital. As I mentioned to you last week when you reviewed the pathology report, we were uncertain when we came for our first consult that we would decide that day to have you do the surgery. After meeting you and talking with others in your service and in the hospital there was no doubt in our minds that this was the hospital for us and you were the right choice for our surgeon.
In the multiple times we have been there every person we have met had a smile and a kind word for us. More specifically, Teresa has been a great help in getting us oriented and answering our questions. Renee and Sandy-I can only say we have never met such caring and helpful individuals-always a smile and a kind word. The nurses on my floor were great.
We have been treated with professional courtesy and kindness and we hope you will accept our thanks and pass on our feelings to all who work with you.
Sincerely,
Dick R.
January 25, 2015
Dear Dr. Ronney Abaza and Staff,
Please forgive the formality of a typewritten letter; my handwriting rivals that of a physician writing scripts.
I wanted to write and thank the good doctor and his incredible staff for the care I received relating to all of the stages of my medical procedure. Hearing you have cancer takes all of the wind from your sails. It is devastating news nobody wants to hear and deal with. But from my first appointment, followed by biopsy, scans, surgery and follow-up, I was made to feel that I was not just another statistic in the health care juggernaut.
The staff at your office from receptionist to nurse to fellow was what I would call true and caring healthcare professionals. I especially want to thank Brenda and Sandy for helping me though this most trying period of my life. Kudos also to the staff at the hospital who made my stay, although brief, comfortable.
My family and I thank all of you with all our hearts.
Thankfully yours,
Mike H.
(Newark, OH)
Dr. Abaza,
This is just a short note to tell you about my treatment plan. After talking with you and your assistant on 4-24 your staff made arrangements for me to see Dr. Dubey the same day. His office in turn set up an appointment for me to see Dr. Merwen in Zanesville. I will be receiving radiation treatments but because of the distance involved they will not be done in Dublin.
I thank you and your staff for being courteous and helpful.
Sincerely,
Charles M.
This letter is a commendation for Dr. Ronney Abaza. I consider him an excellent, if not the best, robotic surgeon in the whole United States. The surgery took only an hour and a half with minimal loss of blood and hardly any side effects. I am recuperating nicely at home now. Indeed, I would recommend Dr. Ronney Abaza without any hesitation … to all my colleagues, friends, and relatives. Again, thank you very much and kudos to your staff.
Dr. T.S. (Newburgh, IN)
Dr. Abaza,
I want to express on behalf of my family our sincerest appreciation for the outstanding care my father received from you and your staff…. Obviously, the news was great yesterday and I attribute much of that to your expertise and decisions you made in my father’s care. I have never seen my father cry, but the tears of relief and joy you all brought him is something our family will remember for a long time.
R.S. (Columbus, Ohio)
I want to thank you, your surgical team and the hospital staff for the wonderful care that I received from the consultations, surgery, and post-operative care! My friends cannot believe that I actually had the surgery since I am doing everything that I did before June 4th. I did start playing golf in mid July and resumed bike riding in early August. Dr. Abaza, please convey my deepest appreciation to everyone involved in my care.
D.L. (Williamstown, WV)
Dr. Abaza,
Thank you so much for all of your help and care of my father…. I can’t believe he has healed so well. Thanks again for all your EXCELLENT care.
M.J.E. (Cincinnati, OH)
Dr. Abaza,
I wanted to send you a note of thank you for the excellent care you and your staff provided. All of your team performed their duties very professionally and cheerfully. It was obvious to me and my family that you all truly enjoy your work….Thank you for your excellent skills in performing the surgery.
S.W. (Boyne City, MI)
Dear Dr. Abaza,
Thank you for your surgical skill and the skills of your entire team. In the week since the prostatectomy surgery, I have continued to heal rapidly. The catheter was removed on Friday, and I started to regain continence approx. 15 hours later. I am now on the way to full continence. I am amazed at the general lack of significant pain and the rapid progress I am making in this recovery. After receiving the prostate cancer diagnosis, I truly believe that my decision to contact your office...was the most important decision of my life.
L.Z. (Fort Wayne, IN)
I realize Dr. Abaza is extremely busy and this feedback may just be redundant of what he has heard many times in the past. But I need to say “What a team!” I have been treated with concern and respect from every person I have come in contact with in the office. I researched HOURS looking for the best SURGEON to perform the da Vinci prostatectomy and am lucky I came across Dr. Abaza! You and the rest all seem to have such a sincere passion about your work that I would consider world-class.
J.S. (Findlay, OH)
The robotic surgery you performed on R. to remove his prostate was a remarkable work of art, requiring incredible skill and knowledge…. Your personal posture and professional prowess are indeed hallmarks of the well-deserved acclaim that you receive from peers, colleagues and advisers. I treasure the personal visit you paid to me the evening of R.’s surgery while he was still in recovery. Your report to me of how the procedure fared and your assessment of his outcome were reassuring and deeply appreciated. We are grateful R. had the unique opportunity to be placed under your medical care…. Please know that we are very proud of you and wish you continued success in this seminal work you are part of in Robotic Urologic Surgery. Many lives have been and will continue to be substantially improved by you and your team of expert healthcare clinicians. Thanks again for becoming an integral part of our lives.
D.M. (Athens, OH)
Dear Dr. Abaza,
Please accept my family’s thanks for having decided to enter the field of medicine. As we talked, you said you know that people appreciate your work and really appreciate your gentle way and patience when you are with a patient. I know you are well aware that your patients are apprehensive and factually scared of the implications of having Cancer.… We commend your staff and the nurses that attended me after your masterpiece…. We are very glad you entered the field of medicine and that at this time in history our paths crossed. I believe my life was literally in your hands and the gentle expert care and expertise you used cleared my body of the Cancer that had grown. Please know my family thanks you for being my surgeon. My daughter-in-law researched my disease and worked hard to make sure you were one of the doctors I talked to. Well you were the first that I talked to, and knew I need go no further. You gave me a confidence that you could help me and did exactly what was needed to save me. Again please accept our and my heartfelt thanks for being there in the most important time in my life. We all thank you so much and wish you could actually know.
J.S.
Dear Dr. Abaza,
As I continue to recover well from my operation, I wanted to thank you very much for your awesome care that you gave me. The skill and expertise you’ve shown to me is truly a blessing to me. I also appreciate the way you explained things prior to my operation and after. I would recommend you to anyone who would need the same type of medical care. Thank you again Dr. Abaza, and thank all your great staff as well. God Bless you.
S.M.
I want you to know that all you and the others that help you do your job is appreciated, even if people don’t always tell you. Thank you so much for using your skills to remove my cancer.

Dr. Abaza,
I am grateful that you are my doctor. I believe for a person to have a good recovery it helps for the doctor to have lot of concern and care for them and you, Dr. Abaza, have that. With God’s help and yours, I hope to be around a lot more years to enjoy my children. God Bless.

Thank you for the excellent care you’ve given me pre and post surgery. You and your staff could not have been nicer. My wife and I are grateful that my family doctor and urologist recommended you. Again thank you very much.

Dear Dr. Abaza,
Thank you so very much for the excellent surgery you did for me. I feel really great now, and it was your expertise that made the difference. Please convey my gratitude to your excellent surgical team too. When I was wheeled into the suite for surgery, everyone made me feel so at ease. I thought, “This is going to be a breeze,” which it was. I will recommend everyone who needs prostate surgery to come to you. You are the best!

Dear Dr. Abaza,
It was a year ago you removed my kidney which had the very large tumor encased. A lot of days I do not think of it much and other times I do and look at it as my second chance and thank you for that. I think of you often. I am grateful and will never ever miss a check-up.

Dear Dr. Abaza,
During our conversation at your office facility on December 29, I said that I am impressed and pleased with the robotic surgery procedure. What I failed to tell you is that I am very pleased and grateful for your expertise, skill and care in performing that surgery. You are the person who makes it happen!! Thank you!!
C.H. (Canal Winchester, OH)
I wish you all thanks in the care I was given … with a mass in my stomach and your staff took such great care of me. I am so grateful. Thanks for all your care.

Dr. Ronney Abaza,
“Thanks” is such a little word. No bigger than a minute. But there’s a world of meaning and appreciation in it.
D.P. (Ashland, OH)
I just want to say “Thank you” for the care and assistance that I received both prior to and post surgery. Your care and assistance helped to make the best of an unpleasant situation. I’ve already begun to spread the word about your excellent staff and facility. Hopefully, I will not have further needs for additional surgery at your facility. If I do I know that I am in the most capable hands anywhere. Thanks again.
J.C. (Lancaster, OH)
Thank you for what you do! And for your patience and kindness. God Bless.
